On 30th of October, we participated in joint training in Kyokushin Karate Club Zemné under the guidance of an experienced coach Miss Eva KISSOVÁ, holder of 1st Dan (black belt) and successful sportwoman in the toughest karate style.
During the two-hours training session we had the opportunity to learn the basics of this style of karate, whose founder was Sosai Masutatsu Oyama, who did not like matches where practicioners only imitate punches. He explained that the true fighters need to train in real conditions. Once in the three days he fought with the best 300 Japanese karatekas. Every day he fought a hundred matches and all won. He wanted to prove that his style, which he found is effective. At 22, he won the championship of Japan in karate. He hid not took over the cup for winners, which shown it clear to others that he did not agree with the rules of traditional karate.
On 15th of August led our club training VIP guest, Mr. Peter Feher, a native of Palárikovo and an excellent boxer who lives and works in Austria. His first success achieved at a very young age when for club Elektrosvit Nové Zámky won the bronze medal.
